Building sustainable solutions involves taking holistic approach on the product selection, design and installation. Lifescycle thinking will help in providing sustainable solutions from start to end of building lifecycle. Lifecycle management has been employed in order to reduce whole life cost, time, risk and improve the service to our clients.

We break the typical siloed view of designing each subsystem such as lighting security networking automation and AV, but rather provide a holistic design and optimised solution addressing the need of the customer. While the need is addressed we keep in my the future upgradeability of the solution without having to redo the infrastructure.

Design Philosophy

Ivorysense creates signature spaces through relentless sensitivity to design always ensuring the WHOLE IS GRANDER THAN SUM OF ITS PARTS. While we strive for perfection, for good, for better the design philosophy -human centric design, occupant importance and wholistic energy management is imbibed into our every day thinking and our design process 

Human Centric

Design is an iterative process. The process starts from a trigger where you understand the need: Learn the requirements, define the problem statement, create the concept, test and validate the solution. During this process, there is convergence and divergence of thoughts.

As part of the human centric design philosophy, to deliver the solution, there are primarily three aspects:  Need, Technology, Finance. Health & Well-being needs to be considered as part of people and technology.

Sustainability and longevity to accounted as part of need and financial viability. Usability is a common factor to all the three aspects. Through this process we deliver a simplified user experience.

Occupant Importance

While integrating technology into spaces, we consider various parameters like environment and climate, activity of the occupant, personal information, salutogenic / health of the individual, socio-personal information & state  of occupancy. 

These parameters can functionally be categorised into providing security, conserving energy, providing comfort and enhance the well being of the individual’s occupying the space. 

These parameters overlap in couple or more of the functions described above. Devices and sensors measure data associated with these parameters to provide great user experience

Holistic Energy Management

By gathering data on the parameters of flexible, inflexible and generation assets, we can ascertain how and where we can reduce demand. Understanding Energy consumption patterns can tell us a lot about the status of equipment.

By identifying how your current generation assets can be best utilised, it is possible to ascertain where additional generation might work best.

Integration of the above elements in order to create a coherent, holistic energy strategy which creates benefits greater than the sum of its parts
